Job Description:
We are looking for exceptional talent with a Business Analytics background for an exciting opportunity of Business Operations Analyst to perform the following:
1. Support Sales and Commercial teams with key reports and other critical information to optimize sales and sustain growth.
2. Analyze retail sales data, market trends, competition landscape, promotional activity, and sell-in information to maintain retail POS metrics. 3. Support Sales, commercial and supply planning to produce data driven item level forecasts.
4. Own POS reporting and distribution, and develop impactful, Excel, Tableau, PowerBi visualizations as needed in support of Internal Team and Retailer’s accounts i.e., End of Week and Month Reports, Ladder Plan, Joint Business Partner (JBP) and Line Review Presentations.
Desired Skills & Attributes:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or quantitative field.
2.3 years of experience (or above) in consulting / strategy / business development / operations / technology / banking or related experience; high-growth or early-stage startup experience.
3. A background in using data to create demand forecasts, providing high quality analysis and solutions to executives, partners, and department heads.
4. Excellent Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets); SQL, Tableau, Excel, PowerBi, AWS and Azure.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills English.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Analysis
· Provide analytical support for sales performance at retailer’s level, proactive SKU management recommendations- retail, margin, chase, cancellations.
· Provide Weekly, Monthly, and seasonal Forecast to drive growth while limiting company financial exposure to excess inventory.
· Support team in maximizing POS performance with item in-stock level management and End of Selling Period inventory transition.
· Analyze and summarize item/brand performance and publish findings and insights.
· Prepare special adhoc reporting requests in response to business needs as directed.
· Analyze product assortment and child level performance to make optimal product mix recommendations.
· Research, analyze, understand, and publish relevant industry and market trends to drive sales, product, or Process improvement.
2. Support
· Support Sales in Line Review, JBP, Forecasting and Buyer’s meeting preparation with inventory, Forecasting and POS Analysis.
· Addresses requests from Sales, Commercial and marketing team regarding POS information accurately and in a timely manner.
· Assist in the preparation and distribution weekly/monthly POS reports accurately and review with specific sales team for actionable insights and follow ups.
3. Design/Innovation
· Identify opportunities and establish processes that result in improved efficiencies, timely communication of business performance, and promote overall better business decisions.
· Document key process, and best practices to share across sales, commercial and Product teams.
· Map inefficiencies/Waste, propose and implement solutions scalable to the rest of markets/teams.
· Deliver a key ZURU project driving impactful change on an annual basis.
