Position Summary:
Part of the team providing IS support to the Linde Group business for all finance process related topics.
Principal responsibilities
— Implement and support SAP for finance processes in Greater China
— help support post SAP implementation processes and enable benefits exploitation
— architect the usage of IS applications which enables these business processes and identify and deliver initiatives which enable their continuous improvement
— manage the prioritisation and delivery of work requests for the customer facing business process areas
— ensure a good understanding of all the finance processes and support the business in providing detailed knowledge of SAP
— Supporting help desk and coaches in resolving problems
— internal consultant to the business for continuous business process improvement and exploitation of the IS investment
— Support change management through business coach training and communications
— collaborate with business in formulating business process strategy & programs for business area; stay abreast of business changes which could impact systems design
— provide measurable contribution to margin and ROCE for the supported businesses through continuous process improvement
— provide the interface between IS and the business for the relevant business process area
— business process design and improvement in collaboration with business
— coordinate resources with required centres: i.e. Software Development Centre / Global Development Centre; Global Centre of Excellence, to ensure continuity and delivery of new functionality
Required key skills (functional/technical)
— Expert knowledge of SAP FICO module
— Solid experience of managing SAP projects
— Be responsible throughout business requirement analysis, solution design and functional Specs, Test Scripts (UT and IT) and testing
— Advanced ABAP debugging skills
— Understanding of MS SQL Server or other relational databases including stored procedure development
— Aisino invoice management system experience is a plus
— Extensive knowledge of business processes and application functionality to enable the resolution of complex problems and influence continuous improvement
— Ability to operate in a Regional environment
— Understanding of Information Technology and a deep appreciation of it’s business application
— Strong understanding and demonstrated use of IS and how it can be used for competitive advantage to support the business process
— Ability to work and communicate with all levels of employees both local and global within the Group
— Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude
— Good skills in spoken and written English
— Able to grasp business and IS concepts quickly
Required qualifications/experience
— Bachelor’s degree in appropriate functional area
— Minimum of five years of experience in SAP implementations
— Solid understanding in other SAP modules like SD, MM and BW is a plus
— Proven track record in SAP implementations – experience of being leading role of at least three implementations
— Ability to work globally
— Business/Enterprise Knowledge
