Job Description
Polaris Biology is recruiting Medical Advisor role, who will be focusing on establishing and maintaining peer to peer relationship with leading physicians, researchers, and clinicians, referred to as key opinion leaders (KOLs) at academic institutions, hospitals, pharma companies, and others. The successful candidate will provide high level scientific support for research activities, colla borations, educations, consulting, and other Medical Affairs initiatives.
Polaris Biology is a high-tech company that focuses on advancement of single cell technology and its application in clinical scenarios. We colla borate with academia, pharma/biopharma/biotech as well as clinicians to address the challenging questions in cancer research. Location: Zhangjiang High-Tech Park, Shanghai, China.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain colla borative relationships with KOLs.
• Serve as scientific resources and experts to colleagues at companies.
• Keep abreast of the latest research and new developments in the area of expertise and advice on upcoming advances in the field.
• Provide insights on relevant scientific and clinical data.
• Colla borate with KOLs for scientific and medical advancement.
• Work closely with Polaris cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and accurate medical information.
• Attend assigned scientific congresses and professional society meetings for the purposes of gathering competitive and scientific intelligence.
Experience & Qualifications
• PhD, MS or Medical qualification with 0-5 years of experience working in immunology, oncology, molecular biology related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous medical affairs experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill is a must– tailor the message for a given audience while presenting complex material in a clear and consistent manner.
• Clear understanding of the clinical research process, including product development, clinical trials, and approval.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Outstanding organization skills and decision-making ability.
