License Compliance - IP Royalty Audit

Job Overview:

- Drive license compliance audit to closure, in collaboration with Sales and BU
- Develop best practices and support data management/ analytics.
- Work with external consulting firm to manage ongoing audit and identify audit targets in support of Cadence license compliance initiatives.
- Build strong working relationship with sales, BU and engineering teams.
- Drive systems strategy, infrastructure requirements and implementation, for scalable Compliance process.
- Identify potential risks and support solutions for preventing revenue leakage
- Manage customers’ royalty reporting history and follow up with customers when reports are not received


Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree, emphasis in Business: Accounting or Economics(Preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of IP Royalty audits (preferably with Big 4 accounting firm experience)
- Skilled at writing sensitive communications with regards to non-compliance: externally with the customer and internally with key stakeholders.
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills in support of royalty reporting non-compliance related topics.
- Proficient with audits /asset reconciliation / customer engagement
- Proficient in data analysis and program management
- Working experience with forensic tools used by compliance industry - Desirable
- Ability to interface well with other departments such as legal, sales, and finance teams
- Detail oriented in producing quality deliverables for an executive audience.
