Overview For over 90 years, UOP (www.uop.com) has been a leader in developing and commercializing technology for license to the oil refining, petrochemical and gas processing industries. Starting with its first breakthrough technology – the Dubbs thermal cracking process, which made possible a variety of important oil-derived products – and continuing to the present day, UOP has contributed processes and technology that have led to advances in such diverse industries as motor fuels, plastics, detergents, synthetic fibers and food preservatives, to name just a few. UOP is the largest process licensing organization in the world, providing more than 65 licensed processes for the hydrocarbon processing industries. UOP operates by developing a process technology or working with third parties to develop a process technology, then licensing that process to refiners and petrochemical manufacturers. Since 1970's, we have licensed over 200 processes units in China. UOP Beijing representative Office was established in 1996. In recent years, UOP views China as a strategic important market and want to expand our Beijing Representative Office to provide a better and convenient service to Chinese customers.
