Tasks
To build up the central competency of purchasing processes, aim to streamline the efficient and reliable process landscape, to enable the stable and flexible operational system to make sure the parts purchasing business continuous and sustainable running.;
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for a clearly defined product range (development, operation, continuous improvement, etc.) in relation to all relevant internal functions and roles and, if applicable, external partners.
Establish and strengthen the process documentation management, including approval, publish and archiving in the proper timeline and on the official platform, as well as to meet the audit requirement.
Lead the new IT projects as purchasing business partner till system go live, complete the function design with coordination the inputs from key users
Working out, agreeing and implementing the product vision and product roadmap
Recording, understanding and evaluating product requirements on the part of the customer, the market, etc. as well as translating into product backlog items.
Continuously prioritizing (and maintaining) the Product Backlog to ensure maximum customer value alignment and maximization of product benefit.
Determination of the acceptance criteria / definition of Done and evaluation of the developed product scope, decision regarding release or re-entry into the Product Backlog.
Technical leadership of the feature teams. Removal of impediments for the development of its product range.
Contact for internal and external stakeholders. Support in the development, implementation and maintenance of methods, processes and standards for legally compliant service provision.
Continuous measurement of performance together with the feature teams.
Creating transparency regarding the resources, needs, competences and the status of the implementation of the requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in in IT or Mechanical Engineering or related field / Economics.
Good understanding of business process
Knowledge of Automotive and Industry in China
Proficiency with relevant Procurement/QMT Processes and IT-Systems of BMW AG
Skills with relevant IT-Systems (i.e. SAP and related Purchasing)
Knowledge of VPS principles and techniques
Proficient English, German and Chinese would be an advantage
Excellent presentation skill
Several years experience in Purchasing or IT in Automotive Industry
