China Management Office (CMO) The China Management Office (CMO) is assisting CEO, DECO and the broader China executive team in entity management oversight, to support for our Branch Managers to aid in meeting the challenges posed by an increasingly complex operating environment in China. On behalf of Country Management, CMO assist our business lines in driving outbound and inbound connectivity and Belt & Road Initiatives, support across wide-ranging, varied initiatives to assist our business operations. . We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team. In this role, you will: · Conduct research on China macroeconomic and financial sector policies, as well as competitor moves (e.g. licenses and digital) and keeping abreast of developments that has direct impact and bearings to the strategic planning and execution of HSBC entities in mainland China; · Provide research and analytical support to S&P team on gathering data and market intelligence which are relevant for any deliverables / strategy papers necessary to support the determination of Group's strategy; · Actively participate in and support in ad hoc projects, including strategic reviews, planning, management information (MI), accountability and governance; · Support the analysis of business performance information, including Scorecards, Annual Operating Plans and track implementation of key strategic initiatives; · Produce reports/bulletins on regular basis to share the latest market insights to relevant internal stakeholders; · Provide support, as and when requested, to the Deputy CEO of HBCN related to any projects or management assignments; Qualifications To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements: · University degree holder or above (Finance, Economics or Business majors preferred) · Work experience for a minimum of 5 years (Experience in research preferred) · Effective communicator with strong inter-personal and influencing skills within the organization · Detail oriented and good attention to details · Self-motivated who are able to work independently · Good team player in supporting others · Excellent in written and spoken English proficiency · Possess sound presentation and negotiation skills You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com.cn/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
