System Testing Engineer

System Testing Engineer plays a very important role on printer system testing, it serves as both quality control and quality assurance for company products. The System Testing Engineer has a breadth level of responsibility to develop, modify, and execute system test strategies, plans and suites; analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action; may also develop tools and environments to automate test execution. Responsibilities • Responsible for designing and implementing coverage within his/her workflow on new features, code turmoil, and historical data within the system. Serve as the point of contact for his/her workflow test coverage. Determine where should invest testing efforts based on risks within the system. Generate test coverage justifications (TCAs). • Responsible for the quality of test case development, co-work with STL (Solution test lead) on execution of the coverage for his/her TCAs (Share and train the new technology/changes to execution team). • Analyze test results to determine improvement action plans in test approaches, execution efficiency and test effectiveness. Maintain his/her workflow content in central library to keep it relative always. • Work with partners to reduce escapes from system testing. • Conduct retrospective on workflow for future solution releases. • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the organization. • Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members. Education and Experience • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience Knowledge and Skills • Extensive experience with multiple software quality assurance tools and processes. • Evaluating forms and processes for software testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience in overall architecture and software design for products and solutions. • Experience with design and integration of software running on multiple platform types • Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
